Pastors Jeremy & Lori Drake

Jeremy grew up in a Christian home and has been involved in church ministry most of his life. He grew up near the town of Lincoln, Missouri, in the heart of the Ozarks, where his parents founded and pastored Abundant Life Christian Center for 15 years. He graduated from High School in Cole Camp, MO and then attended two different Bible Colleges - World Evangelism College in Baton Rouge, LA and Christian Life College in Mount Prospect, IL.

Jeremy began ministering regularly in his home church at the age of 18 and at age 19 received ministry credentials with Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association (An international nondenominational fellowship of ministers and missionaries).

He has a strong desire to bridge the gap between “believers” and the “un-churched” and continues to stay culturally relevant by using biblical, modern means of worship. Jeremy loves God’s Word and teaches it in a way that is applicable and easy to understand. His mission is to free believers from the traditions of men that are contrary to the Bible.

Lori also had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home near the town of Warsaw, Missouri also in the heart of the Ozarks. In addition to assisting her husband in ministry, Lori served as the Secretary for Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association from 1997-2004. She is a loving Pastor, and a godly role-model for anyone to follow.

Jeremy & Lori met in church as teenagers and married years later on September 11, 1993. After their marriage, they traveled across the Midwest speaking in churches and also served together as youth pastors and associate pastors. In 1997 they moved to the St. Louis Metro-East area as Lori accepted the position of ABEA Executive Secretary with their headquarters located in Maryville, Illinois. They are proud parents of their two sons Jared and Jameson.

Together, the Drakes have been through extreme highs and extreme lows. They have each felt the grief of losing a parent at a young age, and the joys of overcoming significant obstacles. Through it all, they have grown to rely on the Lord Jesus Christ and teach others that God’s Word holds all the answers relating to life.

Pastor Mark Palmisano

Pastor Mark Palmisano

Mark and his wife Carla have been commited members since nearly the start of the church.  They have been involved in several ministries over the years such as Youth, Praise team, outreach, and children's ministry.

Mark officially joined the ministry team here at CenterPointe Church in October 2008 as an Associate Pastor.  He has been involved in ministry for nearly the entire twenty one years he has been a Christian.  Weeks after coming to a saving relationship with The Lord Jesus, he started helping in prison and jail ministry.

Mark was trained by the Illinois Dept of Corrections as a Parole Chaplain in the Juvenile division. He also has worked as a volunteer for Prison Fellowship at Menard state Prison. In 1989 he was offered the position of Director of the Southern Illinois region for that organization.  While working with another local jail ministry group, New Beginnings, Mark helped over 150 men come to know the Lord during a tremendous revival that lasted six months inside the St. Clair County Jail.

He was ordained in 1989 into the ministry and has served in various positions in several local fellowships to include: Asst. Pastor, Youth Pastor, elder, teacher, outreach, praise team, children, adult studies, home groups and discipleship.  He is currently working to complete his Bachelor of Theology degree.

Mark's main gifts are teaching and administration, but having been through kidney failure and a transplant, he has a special awareness of God’s mercy and healing grace.

Along with his wife Carla, Mark’s family includes four children. He has two sons and two daughters.

Pastor Jim Skaggs

Jim has an Assembly of God background and was born again at the age of thirteen.   He recommitted his life to the Lord in January of 1975 at the age of twenty five.   He served as a deacon of a large a church in 1980 and has six years experience in children’s ministry.

In 1981 Jim co-founded a prison ministry named Full Gospel Outreach Ministry to take the gospel to numerous prisons in Southern IL.  He is currently a licensed minister with Madison County Corrections for Christ where he has served since 2003 conducting church services in prisons and detention centers.

Jim received an Associate of Arts Degree from Belleville Area College in 1982.  He then attended Lael Christian University for two years to prepare for ministry, and has extensive experience leading worship in large congregations and small groups.  Jim was ordained in 2007 and began serving as Associate Pastor of CenterPointe Church in 2008. He is a member of No Greater Love Ministries which is designed to promote spiritual growth in men through missions trips, cell groups and fellowship. He has served as group leader with NGL and has taken mission trips every year since 2003.

Jim's primary call is to outreach ministry.  He has a burden to see America return to its founding principles and as a result encourages others to take the gospel outside the church.  He does this by forming ministry teams to minister on the streets at local events such as homecomings, holidays and parades.  Jim is married to his wife of thirty six years Deborah.  They have five children and six grandchildren.  He is a Vietnam veteran and enjoys speaking to veterans groups.
